Oxley Training Service recommends that all nurses maintain their continuing professional development (CPD) points for registration as part of the Guidelines of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). Suggestions for Online Learning sites are available at the OnLine Learning page.
From 1 July 2010 Australia's new national registration and accreditation scheme came into effect with 10 health professions regulated by nationally consistent legislation. The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) site provides further details. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is one of the 10 health professions governed by the National Law.
