Oxley Training Service is the training division for members who are seeking professional development opportunities. Options include:
- Courses provided by Oxley Training Service - subject to conditions, attendance is free to Oxley members
- Workshops/Conferences/Training provided by providers that the member chooses to utilise - Oxley will reimburse cost, subject to conditions.
The choice of ongoing educational opportunities is initiated by the nurse by choosing a program that meets their requirements.
Courses offered by Oxley Training Service are provided by Nurse Educators who are experts in their field.
Courses that are provided by other providers, are the choice of the Oxley member allowing them choose from a wide range of options that meet the clinical and professional needs of individual members.
In order for Oxley to be able to respond to training requests, members are encouraged to apply at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance of the intended educational program.
Requests for reimbursement will require a 'pre-approval' form to be completed and is available on request from Oxley.
